Dr. Tamila Selitsky’s Policy on Sterilization Procedures
Dr. Tamila Selitsky provides Tubal Ligation and Bilateral Salpingectomy (tubal removal) for patients aged 30 and older. These procedures are generally performed for individuals who have made a long-term decision regarding family planning. For patients under 30, sterilization procedures are considered only if there is a clear medical necessity.
Dr. Tamila Selitsky does not perform Hysterectomies solely for sterilization, as this is a major surgery that should only be undertaken when medically necessary.
By balancing patient autonomy with medical judgment and ethical considerations, we aim to provide safe, thoughtful, and patient-centered care. Dr. Selitsky’s policies reflect her commitment to the long-term well-being of her patients.
